Art and artists featured at Coffee Lounge
Tim Athens is a self proclaimed graphic designer gone good. In this series, he applies the skills of his trade to the canvas to create scenes and patterns that imbue pop art style with pomp and substance. Tim and his work will be hanging around the Lounge throughout the month.
Dee Dee Funk is a Portland native and a self taught artist. Her free spirited, non-conventional approach to art is a breath of fresh air. In this series of paintings, Dee Dee explores the use of color through the medium of finger paint. Her work will be on display on the walls of the Lounge throughout the month, so stop by and check it out.
Agriculture in the Classroom is a new industry-supported initiative designed to work in partnership with Newfoundland & Labrador (NL) educators. Agriculture in the Classroom is intended to help NL children increase their awareness and understanding of why our food system is essential in society.
